Unattended access solves the "nobody is next to the device" problem: install the client, set an access code, keep it online, and you can start a session at any hour without anyone on the other end.
How to enable it
After signing in on the host, open security settings, give the device its own access code and switch unattended access on. The access code is separate from your account password, so account credentials never sit on the device.

Controlling the boundary
Unattended does not mean "anyone can connect". Connections still require account verification, and the device can additionally restrict which accounts, time windows and operations are permitted.

- Change the code or force disconnect if something looks wrong
Pairing with remote power-on
If the device is switched off outside working hours, pair unattended access with remote power-on: wake it through a smart plug or Wake-on-LAN, then connect — a fully unattended chain.

What if I forget the access code?
Set a new one locally on the host. If you cannot reach the device, remove its unattended configuration in your account and rebind it.
Can unattended access be abused?
Connections still require your account, and every session is logged. Enable two-factor authentication and rotate access codes regularly.
